IMAGINE ME AND YOU - A romantic comedy about love at first sight.

Imagine Me and You is an Ealing Studios and BBC Films presentation of a Cougar Films, Fragile Films, X Filme Creative Pool production in association with Minotaur Film Partnership No. 3, Endgame Entertainment, Filmstiftung NRW , RTL Television and Focus Features.

A sparkling romantic comedy, it marks the directorial debut of critically acclaimed screenwriter Ol Parker, starring Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly , Cheaper by the Dozen), Matthew Goode (Woody Allen Summer Project, He Knew He Was Right), Lena Headey (The Brothers Grimm, Ripley's

Game), Anthony Head (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Little Britain), Celia Imrie (Wimbledon, Calendar Girls) and Sue Johnston (Brassed Off, The Royle Family).

Rachel (Piper Perabo) is marrying Heck (Matthew Goode), and Luce (Lena Headey) has provided the flowers for the wedding. As Rachel walks to the altar, her gaze meets Luce's. The connection between the two women is instant and intense. Rachel becomes friends with Luce who makes fast friends with Rachel's younger sister, Henrietta.

Luce is invited to dinner with Rachel, Heck, and Coop (Darren Boyd), Heck's best friend. Rachel suggests they fix up Luce with Coop, until Luce mentions that she is gay.

Heck works long hours so he encourages Rachel to become close friends with Luce. The two spend an evening together at a football match. At the end of the night, Luce walks Rachel back to her flat and Rachel tries to kiss Luce but withdraws at the last moment.

Rachel tries to deny her attraction to Luce as she wants to remain loyal to Heck. Luce also has no wish to break the couple up. Rachel goes to Luce's flower shop and talks about their feelings for each other. She tells Luce that a romance cannot happen, leaves, and then returns seconds later to kiss Luce in the back of the shop. They are interrupted by Heck, who has stopped by to pick up flowers for Rachel. He's sensed that there are problems between them and blames himself. Rachel hears what he says and decides not to betray Heck again. Later, while Heck pretends to sleep, Rachel confesses her true feelings to him. Meanwhile Luce decides to go on a holiday, out of the country, to forget Rachel.

Heck loves Rachel so he decides that he wants her to be happy so lets her go so that she can be with Luce. Rachel goes to see her parents and tells them that she loves Luce. Her father, Ned, rises to the occasion and gives a touching speech about following your heart and not letting true love go. On hearing this Rachel tracks down Luce as she takes a taxi to the airport. The two reunite in the middle of a crowded London street.
